There have been numerous product recalls this week, affecting a wide range of industries. While no injuries have so far been reported, be on the look out for these products.

Burlington Coat Factory – Over 2,000 Lion Force Boy's Puffer coats are being taken off the shelves due to a drawstring in the items hood that can be a strangulation hazard, especially to young children. While the company Lion Force is issuing a refund, they recommend immediately removing the drawstring if you have purchased the coat.

The Coat Factory is also issuing a recall on nearly 1,000 girls hooded jackets for the same reason: a drawstring on the hood that can pose strangulation hazards. Runaway Global is recommending returning the item or removing the drawstring. Luckily no injuries have been reported.

ZLP Manufacturing – Over 2,000 of the ZLP Hornet zip line trolleys are being recalled, dude to a faulty retaining pin that can pose a serious falling risk. There have been two reports of the malfunction occurring, but fortunately without any injuries.

ZLP wants consumers to immediately stop using the recalled trolleys and contact the company for a free repair kit along with a replacement retaining pin.

BebeLove – The childcare company is recalling over 3,500 baby walkers (Model 358) due to leg openings which could entrap a child's neck causing harm and failing to meet Federal Guidelines for size requirements.

BebeLove is suggesting consumers stop using the recalled walkers and contact the company for a free repair kit.

Eastman Footwear – A type of Coleman shoe, the Runestone Style Children's shoe is being recalled due to sharped edged metal rivets that can lead to laceration hazards. Over 12,000 shoes have been recalled with one report of a minor laceration caused by the sharp rivet.

Coleman Shoes requests that consumers immediately return this product to Big 5 Sporting Goods store for a full refund or to contact the company for more information on refunds.
